When you volunteer at a Do More Goods store, you’re helping families stretch their dollars while putting surplus goods to good use.
Volunteer Opportunities
All you need is a heart to help and a willingness to pitch in. Opportunities include:
- Sorting donations
- Organizing the store
- Greeting customers
- Stocking inventory
- Group service projects
Volunteer opportunities are available seven days a week at our Dallas and Fort Worth stores.

Do I need retail experience to volunteer?
Not at all! We’ll show you everything you need to know when you arrive.
Is there an age requirement?
Volunteers must be at least 16 years old. Those under 18 will need a signed waiver from a parent or guardian.
Where and when can I volunteer?
We offer volunteer shifts seven days a week. We prefer that you volunteer for 2-4 hours shifts to make the most impact.
What should I wear or bring?
Wear closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothing you don’t mind moving around in. We’ll provide everything else.
